Middle Park Allotments will be holding an open day from 1pm to 4pm on Sunday 10th August to encourage friends, family and others to visit our site. There will be a small entry charge and we hope members will use this an opportunity to sell excess produce, jams, chutneys, cakes etc. All money raised will go towards shop and site funds. There will also be face painting, fun competitions and lots more.
Pumpkin Festival 2009
In 2009 we are planning a Pumpkin Festival and hope members will get involved and grow as many different varieties as possible. We are hoping for a great display. The 2009 Vegetable Competition prize will also go to the largest pumpkin. Pumpkins are easy to grow and fun for children. In anticipation of this, the shop will be stocking a wide variety of different pumpkin seeds next season so please come and browse our selection.
